Company Highlights
Buck Company Through the Years
1951
A small malleable iron foundry located in Southern Lancaster Co, Pennsylvania, known as Buck Iron, was purchased by Dixon Valve & Coupling Company and our transformation began.
1953
A non-ferrous foundry was added to produce Aluminum, Brass, & Bronze castings.
1962
Ferrous Heat Treat was installed.
1970
A new ferrous foundry was added to produce Ductile & Gray iron.
1972
Buck Iron incorporated and changed its name to Buck Company Inc.
1979
First automatic molding machine was added. Five more machines were added through the 1980s.
1986
22,000 sq. ft. Core Room that connected the new foundry to the old was constructed.
1994
The foundry adopted continuous improvement processes to further employee training.
1999
Buck Company was certified to ISO 9001:2000.
2002
First Foxall robotic casting finishing center added to the ferrous foundry.
2006
Disa Match 130 molding machine was installed in the non-ferrous foundry.
2015
First DISA Match 20/24 installed in the ferrous foundry.
2019
Constructed new warehouse and parts room.
2020
Replaced non-ferrous finishing equipment with 5 new all-in-one cells.
2023
Fourth Foxall robotic casting finishing cell installed.
