Q: What does your role at Buck Company entail?

A: I am the foundry engineer. This entails designing and simulating all new and existing tooling. Additionally, programming both 3D printers.

Q: Can you tell us about your favorite project you’ve worked on since your time with Buck Company?

A: I was given a job that was notorious for having a high scrap rate directly related to miss run. I regated this tool and ran many simulations to prove out the results. Since the change made to the tool, we went from about a 30% scrap rate to a 2% scrap rate. That was a big win.

A: Where this company is going is remarkable and the amount of support you get from your own and fellow departments is unmatched to anywhere else.

A: Always be on time, work hard, and always keep a bigger goal in mind.

A: We recently got a job approved by the customer and it was very rewarding to be a part of the solution.

Q: What drew you to Buck Company initially and how has Buck changed since?

A: The work environment and great leadership. Since being here, more and more automation is being brought in. Ex. 3D printers and a new Foxall Robot.
