For the past six years, Sam Brandt has been a key player in Buck Company’s Melt Department, making sure every melting procedure is followed correctly and that all metal meets precise chemical and temperature requirements. Whether operating furnaces and cranes or supporting coworkers in various melt operations, Sam’s thorough approach helps our foundry maintain both safety and quality standards every day.
Beyond his core responsibilities, Sam stays motivated by learning all he can and encouraging others to do the same. He enjoys teaming up with colleagues and values the friendships formed while working side by side. In his free time, Sam explores the outdoors through hiking, hones his culinary skills by cooking and baking, and even runs a candle-and-art business with his girlfriend – proving he’s just as creative outside the foundry as he is inside it.
Join us in appreciating Sam’s hard work and dedication as our January Employee of the Month!
